Perri Cummings as "Deirdre"

Since graduating from James Cook University in Performing Arts sometime last century, Perri has performed in, produced and worked on over 50 plays.

She was a founding member of Tropic Line Theatre Company and worked with the company as an ensemble member for 6 ½ years before moving to Melbourne and starting Gorgeous Productions. Working to produce, publicise and perform in 9 plays for the company including: playing Jean Harlow in The Beard at The Lounge, Anne/Mrs Loop in Futz, at the Brunswick Mechanics Institute, Sarah in Francis Kiss at Chapel off Chapel and Woman in Last Post for the Melbourne Fringe Festival, directed by Catherine Hill.

Most recent work includes Cordelia/ Fool in King Lear and Hermia/First Fairy/Wall, in A Midsummer Nights Dream and Head Witch/Lady Macduff in Macbeth for Ozact as well as Mole, in Wind in the Willows in the Botanical Gardens for Australian Shakespeare Company. She has also been in Daniel Shlussers' production of The Visit, a series of French plays at the Store Room, the Mono Fest at the Universal and adapted Report to the Academy by Franz Kafka into a one woman show.

She has appeared in many TV shows including, Neighbours, Blue Heelers, Secret Life of Us and Stingers, as well as several short and student films.

Perri is currently preparing to play the recurring role of "Jill Ramsay" in Neighbours, the episodes for which will begin airing later this year on Network Ten.
