A graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts (Fashion Design), Kimberley has worked in theatre, film and fashion with credits in both Australia and the UK. Theatre credits include Costume Designer for Gorgeous Productions (Melbourne) for The Last Post, Lovepuke, The Pudding, Futz, Patience and The Beard, Pesky Theatre (Melbourne) for Uncle Scorpion and Union Dance Theatre (London, UK). Kimberley has also worked as Wardrobe Mistress for Vanessa Ford Productions for the West End production of The Hobbit (London and regional tour, UK), Wardrobe Assistant for Playbox Theatre (Melbourne) for On The Road, Jung Frau and The Conjurers and Dress Maker for Laurel Frank for Circus Oz (Melbourne). Film and TV wardrobe department credits include the television series Satisfaction (Showtime), The Pacific (HBO) and feature film Where The Wild Things Are (Warner Bros.). Other work includes costume making, character armature, puppet making, casting, prop making, mould making, painting and installation for Stage One Promotions (Melbourne), which included creating the famous Myer Christmas windows displays (Melbourne) and the Grace Brothers Department Stores and David Jones Department Stores' Christmas windows nationwide, Decorating Team Supervisor and Dressmaker of Ballroom and Latin dresses for June Designs (Melbourne), which also included providing dresses and costumes for Channel 7's Dancing With The Stars, the 2006 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony and Channel 9's Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice and Costume Maker for Rainbow Productions (London, UK), which included building character costumes for Warner Bros., BBC, The Simpsons, UK Football team mascots and Leggo Land, amongst others. Kimberley is also known to take on the roles of Art Director, Props Maker and Set Designer for various theatre and film productions, as well as working for Blackout (London, UK), creating large-scale drapes for exhibitions, music concerts and award ceremonies. |
