Sally McLean - Co-Writer/Executive Producer

A graduate of The Actors Institute, London (UK), Sally has written, directed and/or produced a number of successful films under the banner of Incognita Enterprises, which began life as Salmac Productions in 1997 under the honorary patronage of British actor, Sir Nigel Hawthorne.  

These include the 45 minute feature A Little Rain Must Fall (invited to screen at the Cannes Film Festival) and short films fixNATION (screened on Foxtel in 2005 and selected "Best of Anything Goes Film Screenings, 2004) and Brigit & Benny: A Modern Faerietale (Selected: Festival of the Spirit, USA). Her foray into theatre production followed soon after, writing, directing and producing several theatre works, including the WWII drama, Bayonets & Bully Beef, which was showcased at the Victorian Arts Centre under her direction in July 2005, and the sell-out season of Chasing Pegasus, staged in 2006 starring Brigit Neval and Jennifer Hansen.

She has worked in production with BBC Television London in both their Music & Arts and Commercial Channels Depts., on program strands such as Bookmark, Bard On The Box and One Foot In the Past, during which time she Chaired the BBC Alternative Program and Australian Program Development Units, submitting several successful television program proposals to the Controllers of BBC1 & 2. She has since worked in production for Channel 9, Endemol Southern Star, Fremantle Media and Global TV on shows such as Comedy Inc., 1 VS 100, The X-Factor, Australian Idol and Big Brother.

Sally's other credits include writing, producing and directing the pilot for online TV show D.A.T.E. Me for NEon TV and the pilot for the webisodic Culture Pig.

Also an actor, Sally has played leading roles on the London stage in various productions including Macbeth, Hamlet, Top Girls, Uncle Vanya and the World Premier of Annabel's Requiem. She has appeared on UK television in The Bookworm, The 80's, The Late Show and as "Angie Powers" in the BBC mini-series Bootleg.

Australian TV credits include Elephant Princess, Flying Doctors, Kath & Kim, Fast Forward, Blue Heelers, Tonight Live, Lowdown and Comedy Inc.
